The George offers nine charming, lovingly styled bedrooms with delightfully comfy beds and en-suite bathrooms with underfloor heating.  Our three rooms located on the floors above the pub are styled more traditionally, with roll top baths in our superior room 1 and single room 2. Our garden rooms are all dog friendly and each have their own individual access straight onto our terrace and the garden beyond. We stock our rooms with Nespresso coffee machines and handmade truffles/nougat, and our toiletries are sourced from 100 Acres, the luxury British bath and body care brand to ensure you relax and unwind whilst you escape with us.

Our thoughtful in-room welcome packs have been mindfully put together by our team, and they offer our guests a wealth of knowledge, hidden gems, walking routes and tourist destinations to explore in our local area from the ones that know!

We take breakfast seriously at The George, and we pride ourselves in our ability to nail it every time. Inclusive of your room rate is the most scrumptious country breakfast for you to wake up to the next morning. You will find few finer ways to start your day. We like to give our guests the option to enjoy their hearty breakfast in bed, a Covid-19 inspired initiative that we have continued to adopt.
